I believe this my favorite in the last year for short films adaptation or not.... This is in reference to creating a mythology to all of those that I spoke to about such....
death needs time for what it kills to grow in.......

I am in love! (and I don't even have my speakers hooked up to my computer right at the moment!-- so I had no sound-- the visuals were enough to make my day-- maybe even my whole week)
I need to go see it with sound at the studio's computer....
I have to go back and watch that again...I had to watch a different one(?) the link I originally went to kept timing out after :39sec. But I think I looked at a simiar if not same post elsewhere. But it did remind me of "a Thanksgiving prayer" which I found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7_MYrVzU-Y&mode=related&search=
back yo youtube....
I love the look of this film, I think the meteor shower (or rain) was visually the best part (the sound of the shower was integrated very well too). It's like you are in a Borrough's hullicination, but the creatures seemed like something Clive Barker would create.
Ok, I have officially viewed the peice (with sound... now that I have speakers hooked up) at least a half a dozen times, because I enjoy it so much! I also saw some other work on YouTube based on the exact same narration... (one had the viewer gliding through weird scenes in nature-- totally oposite approach to this) I enjoy the writing to begin with... but the fantastical stop motion claymation really punctuates the words, and adds a touch of irony!
